The Sedlec Ossuary (Czech: kostnice Sedlec) is a small Roman Catholic chapel, located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints (Czech: HÅ™bitovní kostel Všech Svatých) in Sedlec, a suburb of Kutná Hora in the Czech Republic. The ossuary contains approximately 40,000-70,000 human skeletons which have been artistically arranged to form decorations and furnishings for the chapel.

Fumi Mini Nakamura

Fumi Mini Nakamura is a freelance illustrator and designer living and working in the NYC-area. She was born in a small town in Japan, growing up surrounded by majestic mountains and endless ocean. She moved to the US when she was twelve years old, but her rural upbringing has undeniably impacted her art, which features beautifully rendered plants and animals.

Maybe we shouldn’t be so impressed with an artist when we hear about their age, but the fact that Munich, Germany-based photographer Elizaveta Porodina is only 24-years old sort of blows our mind. There are some exquisite shots in here, with original compositions and dreamy scenarios that appear both to be fashion oriented with a bit of subconscious and sexual imagery. Ian Williams

Ian Williams is an illustrator from Long Beach with a passion for bright colors and graphic illustrations and designs. His work reflects aged animal skulls and amazing patterns and backgrounds that keep the peice ever-moving.
The evocative juxtaposition of death (skull) with the lively color and composition of the piece makes it especially intriguing 

Back in 2006, New Dehli-based artist, Subodh Gupta created the following piece titled “Very Hungry God.”   Constructed of Stainless steel kitchen utensils in reaction to reports that French soup-kitchens were using pork as an ingredient to deter Muslims from partaking in the meals.  The sculpture was exhibited internationally and eventually found a home in François Pinault’s extensive collection.
